Tuesday Random Ten Edition

Haven't done an RT in a while with all the excitement over the last week, Chief visiting, birthdays, dates w/ hotties, etc. So here it goes....

1. My Home Is The Delta - Muddy Waters from Mali To Memphis. Classic electric Mississippi blues tune right here folks. Muddy was/is pretty much the godfather of electric blues. This disc is great too, shows the evolution of American blues via African roots.

2. I've Got A Feeling - The Beatles from Let It Be Naked. These guys sure do show up a lot on the "random" tens. Good tune nonetheless.

3. Space Odditiy - David Bowie from Changesbowie. I love this song!!!!

4. Pump Pump - Snoop Dogg from Doggy Style. Can I get a hell yeah for Snoop? This song features Malik (Lil Hershey Loc), a good track from a great album.

5. Trendy - Reel Big Fish from Turn The Radio Off. Man, I haven't heard this song/group in ages. I got to see them back in '97 in Dirty Jerzey and it was a kick ass show. I like this song a lot, fuck the trendy people, be yourself.

6. Africa - D'Angelo from Voodoo. Fitting, need I say more?

7. Torn & Tattered - Joss Stone from Mind, Body & Soul. I feel ya girl. Love the beat to this song. I'd like to stalk her this summer if she's touring!!

8. Ice Cream - Sarah McLachlan from Fumbling Toward Ecstasy. One of my all time favorite songs right here. This whole album has gotten me through a many rough times in life. She has a great voice and some killer lyrics.

9. Nostalgia - Mark Farina from Mushroom Jazz 5. This track actually originated from DJ Spinna but Mark Farina put his spin on it to create a funky/jazzy/fusion type feel to it.

10. Everyday - Buddy Holly from Greatest Hits. A classic to end the RT. Everyone knows this song!!!!!! Good times. R.I.P. Buddy.
