R-10 w/ Some Random Thoughts

It's been a while since I've thrown down an R-10. So I'm going to do so, just after I get some random thoughts out. Game night at Salexis' was great last night. I have some pics, but who knows if they'll ever make it up here! Turns out the guy I had been seeing was really just playing me to get someone else's attention, and he rejected me via text messaging. Can I get "Fuck You" from my readers? Thanks. So I've decided that I'm done with dating, again. Really, I just can't stand this shit. I wouldn't call myself bitter, although I do have that bite to me right now, I'd just call myself fed up. Yes, that's it, I'm fed up. On a different note, I start my new job next week, and I'm feeling a high level of anxiety, which is not like me at all. I keep wondering if this is the right decision, am I going to be happy, etc., etc. Whatever....On w/ the ten:

1. It's Raining Men - The Weather Girls from Pure Disco Vol. 2. Oh hell to the no, see above.

2. Tinseltown To The Boogiedown - Mos Def from We Are Hip Hop Disc 2. This album comes via Silk E's collection, much love.

3. Same Old Thing - The Meters from Struttin. Another album via Silk, these guys are funky, I love them.

4. Press On - Mary J. Blige from Love & Life. I'm with u Mary, I hear ya. Just tryin' to stay right while the world is sooo wrong. New Zealand here I come.

5. Einstein's Takin' Off - Ugly Duckling from an UD mix I made. This group is the shit, anyone whole appreciates hip-hop will enjoy these guys. I think they're from the west coast, and they do a lot of touring in Europe.

6. Out Of My Mind - James Blunt from Back To Bedlam. I'm still trying to decide if I like this guy or not.

7. Come On And Love Me - Lenny Kravitz from Are You Gonna Go My Way. Probably one of my favorite songs on this album. I'd love to learn the beat, I've tried, but there is some odd time going on in this track.

8. Yes - Black Sheep from A Wolf In Sheep's Clothes. Nice old school jam/group for that azz.

9. Dispatch The Troops - Matisyahu from Youth. The Jewish reggae dude, I gotta say, he's damn good.

10. See That Woman - ???? from my self-made disc entitled The Dope Shit. This is an electronic remix of a Nina Simone song. I like.

Well bloggers, that's it for now. And one final thought....dude just texted me asking "how much do u hate me..." I will not entertain him by answering, but all I have to say is WTF? Seriously.

Peace out,
Medusa Jones
