Single's Awareness Day Random Ten

Happy day to all singles. According to a recent study, out of the 43% of single adult Americans, only 13% of them are looking for their soul mate. Kudos to bitter feelings and excess baggage. Also, a recent article published in Cleveland Magazine, it appears that east siders are having more sex then us folk over here on the west side. Hence my new hang out location on the east side. 1. Streets of Laredo - Johnny Cash from The Man Comes Around. Good starter song, who doesn't love a little JC on any day?

2. Seven of Nine - Mark Farina from Connect. A most excellent electronic DJ/album. Very smooth, jazzie, melodic yet electronic grooves. I do enjoy this man.

3. United Minds - Arrested Development from Zingalamaduni. This song should be our national anthem, for we're all human beings in this country, can't we just live in bliss together????? This group kicks ass. They sing about real shit ie) shitty politics in the USA, shitty family life, shitty racism.

4. Track 01 - Herbie Hancock from a mixed jazz cd I made back in the day. I don't know the name of this song, but it's great.

5. Fuel - Ani DiFranco from Little Plastic Castle. I owe a shout out to Silk for letting me burn this album. Love Ani, and this song is fucking mint.

6. Darlin' Companion - Johnny Cash from Live At Folsom Prison and San Quetnin. Another Cash song baby, love it!!!!

7. Track 14 - Liquid Soul from a mixed cd of Liquid Soul songs I stole from Kazaa.
Don't know the name of this track but it's tight. As are most of their songs!! Some crazy ass trumpets in this one, makes me want to get up dance. I think I will, brb!!!!!!

8. Angry Johnny - Poe from Hello. Whatever this guy did to her, he really pissed her off. Great tune for St. Valentine's Day.

9. The Happy Song - Ottis Redding from The Very Best Of. A nice follow-up from #8. This song puts me in a good mood, perhaps it's the title.

10. Shotgun - Junior Walker & The Allstars from Mowtown: The Classic Years. Gotta love this cut!!! I have to dance to this one too, brb!!!!!!!!!!!
