This is a picture of the ten pound hairball that surgeons removed from an 18 year old woman's stomach. Seems she was complaining of severe stomach pain and unexplained weight loss. When checked out, a very large natty dread, or should we say nasty dread, was discovered. Seems she admitted to eating her hair for the last five years, and it finally caught up to her. She was discharged into a psychiatric facility shortly after recovering from surgery for an evaluation. You think?

that's the gross-est thing i've seen in a long, long time....we actually have patients at RR that have that disease - now I'll see this gross, gross image everytime I see one of them...YIKES
gotta love the trichophagia clients!!! you should hang this picture in ur office to scare them straight.
This has become the wallpaper on our lab computer....it's a conversation piece for sure.
