Wednesday Lego and I met up at the Parkview for their open jam night. We were first to go on, which was fine w/ me cause I had to work in the morning. However, what was not fine was playing with some dude who has never played out/jammed before, a bass player that couldn't get it together, a kick drum beater that kept falling off, and a host who looked like Iggy Pop.
Let's just say that our first song was going kinda rough, and got worse when Lego and I thought the bass player was taking a solo. Lego dropped out, which is the right thing to do, the kid playing guitar quit and just looked at me and Lego, and the bass player solo'ed for like two chords then dropped out. That left me just keeping time for no one. Iggy Pop rushed in clapping the beat and counting off and Lego and I just looked at each other in pure dis-satisifaction. What a night. At least I got in a good two hour nap so I wasn't that tired the next day at work.
Blues On Fire is playing at the Parkview tomorrow night. If u bloggers are free, come check it out. Lego is sitting in with them. Should be a good time.

I like your new laugh too by the way. I figured out why I had never heard it before on the way home. I never say anything funny. It took you laughing at your own joke to bring it out.
