One Month

So it's been a month. Things have slightly settled down at the new job, and by slightly, I mean I've changed my attitude to salvage my sanity. My staff consist of about 4 really good and 10 really bad/stupid people. My boss has proven to be a moron, no surprise as she is in administration. She likes to micro manage and that pisses me off and keeps me from being efficient when she's got her hands in everything.

And meetings, can we please talk about how much I LOATHE meetings. Why so many? Why so long? Why am I involved in meetings that have nothing to do with me or my staff? Why do people make things so difficult during meetings, therefore spawning a follow up meeting to those issues? And why is there NEVER resolution to any meeting? It just gets put off til the next meeting then forgotten about only to resurface at some other meeting that is completely off topic.

All and all this is a clusterfuck and a lot of work, but I believe they have chosen the right person to assist them in getting their shit together. Now if I can just get rid of the stupid ones.......
