I continue to have technical difficulties, hence no photos from the wedding. All I will say is that one large computer company sux ass. On with the ten....
1. What Have You Done For Me Lately - Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings from Dap Dippin' A great rendition of Ms. Jackson's original.
2. To Whom It May Concern - Black Sheep from A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing. A classic old school group, where are they now?
3. The Pusher - Steppenwolf from 16 Greatest Hits. Light a phatty and turn on the black light for this one!
4. Concrete And Barbed Wire - Lucinda Jackson from Car Wheels.
5. Me So Horny - 2 Live Crew from an old school mix I made. I remember my mother coming into my room when I was a youngster and telling me to never listen to this song again. This one's for you mama duke, still rockin' out to it!!!
6. Great Life - Goatboy from some soundtrack. This is a kick ass song that has been getting a lot of play on the pod lately. I love it.
Okay, I don't feel like doing anymore. Peace out,
MJ

Welcome 2007 Random Ten
It is a new year for new beginnings. I am here at Gypsy (much nicer than the old java spot) w/ Klassy Kate bringing you the first R-10 of '07. Those of you who were not present for the hitching of J-Ho and Taj, it was fab! J-Ho looked stunning!!!!!! I will post a few pics in the near future. I had a great time at the reception and would like to thank the newly weds for including me on their big day!!! Now, on w/ the 10...
1. Sing A Simple Song - Maceo Parker from Funk Overload.
2. Not Fade Away - Buddy Holly from Greatest Hits. Yeah!! I don't think Buddy has made any of my past random tens!!!! R.I.P.
3. Alright - Janet Jackson from Design Of A Decade. Love me some Janet. I've heard some of her new stuff & I can't wait to bootleg it from the library.
4. Shuba Yatra - Bela Fleck & The Flecktones from Outbound. A new album for my collection compliments of Knotty Dee. Anyone who knows this band knows that they kick some arse!!!!!
5. Bitch - NWA from a most excellent mixed cd created by yours truly. I love this track. Some would find it offensive, I find it very comical & to a certain extent, quite true.
6. Hot Corn/Cold Corn - Leftover Salmon from Ask The Fish Live. Another newly acquired album via Knotty Dee. This band is kind of a jam band/rockabilly/reggae type group. A nice addition to the collection.
7. Pleasantly Blue - 4 Non Blondes from Bigger, Better, Faster, More. I enjoy this album, it's too bad that one song got way played out.
8. Lodi Dodi - Snoop Dogg from Doggy Style. Excellent.
9. Keep'n It Real - Shaggy from Hotshot. Keep'n it real, that's me.
10. My Doorbell - The White Stripes from Get Behind Me Satan. Kate of Barefoot Dan & Kate was just talking about this song Sunday. Good times.
There you have it folks, welcome 2007.
